Installation given by School of Journalism and Mass Communications
The goal of advertising has always been to influence our behavior and judgment. These same skills are now needed to inform and motivate the public to take personal action on climate change.
The ads in display in the UMC were created as part of the The One Show college competition sponsored by New York City's One Club, the premier advertising creative organization for both professionals and students. There were 1200 entries from around the world. This student work is by the competition winners. This year 7 CU students took prizes.
The client for the competition was the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), a national environmental non-profit dedicated to protecting the planet's wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.
